WHAT WE DO
Qualidi is a not-for-profit organization that helps granting organizations ensure that their funds are being used as effectively as possible. The most credible way to assess the purpose of a grant is through the use of a third party with expertise in the area. This allows funders to not only use their resources most effectively, it also provides donors with the confidence they need to continue donating to a project. Our growing ‘council of experts’ has expertise in international development, grant making and law as it applies to international charity work. When you contact one of our experts, they will advise you about any other expertise that may be needed and help you through the use of their extensive contacts formed through many years in the field.
Closely related to this area are the now legally required analyses for charities making grants both before and after the grant is made. The name for these legal provisions is “Qualifying Disbursements” – our organization’s name is taken from this new regime as a sign of our commitment to these new rules. Amongst our council are people who have studied these new rules, prepared agreements and are amongst the most educated in Canada on this topic.
