Post Grant Assessment
Charitable foundations give billions of dollars annually to support programs around the world. Whether these are one-time, or multi-year projects, funders want to understand whether their funds were put to good use – and even more whether this was the best use of their capital. This analysis could be done by the funder, or by a partner on the ground, but as in most cases a third party report by experts in the field is the most reliable measure. And one which can be shown with the most confidence to donors.
Unlike a market approach where revenue and profits are taken as proxy measurements of success in the marketplace, the granting world may see some benefit from a particular project but cannot know whether the grant was put to its highest and best use without the appropriate analysis. The concept of providing a third-party review is the approach taken when one cannot rely on the market-place to provide the desired feedback. It is the way credibility is assured when those involved may have a bias, real or perceived, in evaluating their own work.
Qualidi’s team of experts are linked with academics, development experts and people on the ground around the world. Our experts will visit on-site to see the work themselves and engage with locals in their own language to gather perspectives from all angles. And, where necessary, examine financial documents and engage in discussions with relevant government authorities to provide a full review of the grant.
Feel free to contact any of Qualidi’s team of experts to discuss to discuss your potential needs and they will be happy to direct you to any team members who might be able to help.
